tuesday cheese night
Join us every Tuesday evening from 5pm. Dig into a generous sharing cheeseboard, loaded with local favourites and acclaimed cheeses from around the world. We’ll also serve our incredibly popular, freshly made scotch eggs, alongside deli meats, pork pie and chutneys. Perfect with a pint!
tapas night
Tapas night lands on the first Thursday of every month. Work your way through a selection of small plates bursting with flavour, taking influence from brilliant British dishes and tastes from around the world. Always using great quality, locally sourced ingredients. The dishes are designed to share, making it the perfect event for catching up with friends over great food and a few drinks. It’s one of our most popular nights, so book early to avoid disappointment.
fisherman Fridays
Every Friday we celebrate the best of British seafood with Fisherman Friday’s. Our talented chefs cook the freshest catch straight from British boats, bringing you top-quality fish and shellfish cooked to perfection. The menu is written fresh each week, created the day before when we know what the boats have landed. It’s sea-to-plate dining at its best, so reel in your table early. These are run as specials, starting on a Friday and continuing over the weekend until they’re sold out.
quiz night
Quiz night takes over on the second Wednesday of every month and it’s always fun. Grab your cleverest friends and make a team of up to 6. A table deposit is required as this event is really popular and often sells out so book early to avoid disappointment. Entry is £5 per person and includes a chef prepared meal, with food at 7 and the quiz kicking off at 8. Plus, try your hand at Play Your Cards Right for a chance at a cash prize every month!
celebration meals
Make your big moments memorable and celebrate with us. Whether it’s birthdays, anniversaries or retirements, we’ll help you to mark the occasion in style. Ask about champagne waiting for you on your table, or a bespoke set menu tailored for your party and we’ll reserve you the best tables in the house. Just tell us when booking that you’re gathering to celebrate and we’ll make it extra special for you.
Private hire
Hire our bar, restaurant and garden space for your event, with exclusive or partial use available. Enjoy our sunny garden area with benches and stretch tent canopy, plus the full bar, snug and restaurant areas, with a full team to ensure your event runs smoothly throughout!
