Our pub
Hi, I’m Luke, and in September 2018 I took on the lease of The Sheaf Inn in West Haddon. A beautiful country pub, situated in the heart of a thriving small village. A village I soon realised took great pride in supporting its local enterprises… Since then my approach has been to take The Sheaf right back to the heart of the village and the community with a friendly and welcoming team, great menus and community events.
As a pub that has been standing for well over 500 years, The Sheaf has been at the heart of our rather lovely village for quite some time. For the last 60 years The Sheaf has been known as an eatery of note. We continue to uphold this tradition whilst staying true to the “pub” side of this Pub/Restaurant.
We offer a great wine selection, lovely real ales and food cooked with love and passion, I really hope you love The Sheaf as much as myself and the team do. Everything we do is with passion and respect for the art of food and drink.
We have three dining areas so can find the perfect spot for date night, a post dog walk lunch, a family gathering or a large party meal. Please do get in touch to discuss or book in to dine with us while you’re here having a look round.
We run weekly and monthly events. Cheese nights, Steak nights and Tapas events which allow us to explore new local produce, try new dishes, and learn more about what our customers want.
We have. fantastic large ‘sun trap’ beer garden with benches and parasols, surrounded by planters full of herbs and flowers.
Keep an eye out for large events such as Sheaf Fest! and plenty of festive activities in the winter.
